4th of July Family Fun!

In just a matter of hours, the weekend will be here and the holiday begins!!! How do you celebrate the 4th? Usually my family participates in a cook out and setting off fireworks, but this year appears to be taking a different turn! So far I’ve been invited to a party in Laguna Beach, a BBQ in Huntington, a firework display in Los Alamitos, and I just caught wind of Pirate Invasion in Long Beach. Hmmm…. decisions, decisions!!!!

Here are the events I’ve decided you can’t afford to miss!

4th of July Fireworks Spectacular in Los Alamitos

We’ve mentioned it already, but this is going to be an amazing event! Held on the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos, the whole family is sure to love the food court, sponsor booths, and kid zone. Parking is $5, but admission to the event is free! Click here for more information.

Huntington Beach Parade

The HB parade has been held since 1904 and this year sounds like it will deliver just as much fun and enjoyment as it always has! The fun lasts all weekend long, with everything from breakfast first thing, 5k runs, festival activities, entertainment, and a huge fireworks display! Sounds like a spectacular event if I ever heard of one! Click here for the line up and more info.

Crescenta Valley Fireworks

Every year the Crescenta Valley Fireworks Association holds a huge firework show at the elementary school. Reviews of the event are glowing, which leads me to believe its worth checking out for sure! Tickets are $5, a small price to pay considering what you will be getting. There will be a carnival with rides for all, Food Trucks will delicious food for all, not mention an amazing Fireworks show that is sure to bring “oohhs” and “aahhs” to all. Check it out here!

That is all I have time to mention right now, but there is so much more going on! First Fridays Long Beach will tonight, there is the Pirate Invasion of Belmont Shore tomorrow and Sunday, and I’m sure there are about a billion more events in honor of our nation’s birthday.

So have fun this weekend! Be safe! Come back and tell us about all of your fun and festivities! :)

  1. It was nice to read your post. Thank you for posting this piece!

  2. But after the birth of my 3rd child, I barely have time and energy for all these, it is even more so that I no longer have a maid now.
